Abstract

Reading Teaching is an important part of high school English teaching. The activity-based approach to English learning is realized through a series of learning activities from learning and understanding to applying and practicing to transferring and creating. The activities at these three levels range from text-based, in-depth text to transcendental text, focusing on the learning objectives of culture, language learning, and thinking development, which provide an operational way for the transformation of students’ learning methods and the implementation of core competence.
