Abstract

With the development of internationalization of higher education, Sino-foreign cooperative education has become a major way to improve the quality of education and provide an effective way for students to grow up with an international perspective. Foreign teachers are an indispensable part of cooperative education, and their teaching quality and student satisfaction determine the success of the program. In this paper, taking the undergraduate education of preschool education (Sino-US cooperation) at University H in Hainan Province as an example, we applied a mixed research method of questionnaire and interview to investigate the current situation of students’ satisfaction with the teaching of foreign teachers’ courses and the factors affecting them, and cut from another key angle - through in-depth interviews with foreign teachers, we further revealed the difficulties and suggestions that teachers difficulties and suggestions faced in the classroom. On this basis, ways to improve teaching quality and student satisfaction are proposed, thus providing a feasible basis for the improvement of Sino-foreign cooperative education programs.
