The Production and Operations course is one of the core courses in management studies, emphasizing the integration of theory and practice. Traditional teaching is largely classroom-based, and students find it difficult to translate abstract concepts into practical skills. The social practice method extends the classroom to real production environments through company visits, internships, case studies, etc. This paper discusses the application framework, implementation paths, effect evaluation, and potential challenges of the social practice method in the Production and Operations course. Research shows that this method significantly enhances students' problem-solving skills, team collaboration awareness, and professional competence.
